Around week 9, pregnancy symptoms may reach their peak. Your breasts might feel more tender and noticeably larger. Small glands may develop also around the areola. These produce natural oils with antibacterial properties that help moisturize and prepare your skin for breastfeeding.

- Drink plenty of fluids, especially if you’re experiencing frequent vomiting; to avoid dehydration.
- Talk to your doctor about pregnancy-safe medications to reduce nausea.
- Eat smaller, more frequent meals, and consider adding ginger to your food or drinks, it may help ease nausea.
- Make sure you’re getting enough rest to help combat fatigue.
- Apply ice compresses wrapped in dry towel to your breasts to reduce tenderness.
- Consult your doctor about safe antacids, if heartburn is severe. Try to avoid citrus fruits and don’t eat right before bed.
- Reward yourself with your favorite snack or a small gift. Remember, a good mood is key to easing symptoms.
