How do I know if my child has acid reflux?

Acid reflux in children may be indicated by symptoms such as:

  • Pain or burning sensation in the chest or throat, or regurgitation after eating.
  • Difficulty swallowing, vomiting, coughing, or shortness of breath after eating.
  • Refusing food or eating only small amounts.
  • Complaining of sour or bitter taste in the mouth.
