Your baby’s facial features are becoming more defined. The head is more upright and rounded, and hair follicles may start to appear. The eyes, still protected by the forming eyelids, are taking shape. The ears, mouth, and tongue are developing too, with small taste buds beginning to form.
Other organs are growing quickly, including the liver, kidneys, lungs, heart, and genital organs. The buds of your baby’s toes are now more noticeable, and small muscles are developing, allowing for movement of the arms and legs.
