How do I deal with low milk supply?

To increase milk production, you can follow these steps:

  • Breastfeed your baby on demand, at least 8 times daily.
  • Make sure your baby is latching properly.
  • Allow the baby to empty one breast completely before switching to the other.
  • Massage the breast gently during feeding to stimulate milk flow.
  • Continue breastfeeding after the milk stops flowing to increase stimulation.
  • Hold your baby skin-to-skin frequently.
  • Stay relaxed and drink plenty of fluids.

If the problem continues, consult your doctor or a lactation consultant.
