Go to the hospital immediately. Treatment depends on the pregnancy stage:
- Before 34 weeks: Rest, medications to support the baby’s growth, and infection prevention.
- 34–37 weeks: Doctor balances risk of early birth with risk of infection.
- 37 weeks or later: Labor is usually induced within 24 hours.
